The Mexican midfielder finally made his first start for the Gers after his £2.2million move from Chivas Guadalajara.
Worked hard in midfield and always looked to get forward but struggled to impose himself in the first-half.
Much better after the break and took his goal brilliantly, heading beyond Scully from a corner.
Will have given Caixinha food for thought when it comes to his selection for Saturday lunchtime’s Old Firm clash with Celtic at Ibrox.
Replaced by Holt after 70 minutes.
