Pundit issues emphatic Everton transfer claim after update on Harry Winks talks
Alan Hutton is adamant Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks would be a welcome addition at Everton.
Speaking to Football Insider, the ex-Spurs player suggested Winks would be a solid replacement for Fabian Delph at Goodison Park.
A Toffees source told this site (19 June) that the club hope to sign the 26-year-old this summer and have made contact over a potential deal.

According to the Daily Mail (22 June), Everton have held further talks with Tottenham over a deal but nothing is advanced at this stage.
Winks has two years remaining on his contract.
He has struggled to cement a place in Antonio Conte’s squad and has been told he is able to leave this summer.
Hutton believes Everton will be a good fit for the England international.
“Everton need someone,” he told Football Insider.
“They’ve let a few players go, including [Fabian] Delph.
“But I like players like Allan and Doucoure, I think they’re good but I think they need someone alongside them like Winks.
“He’s a ball player, he keeps hold of the ball, keeps things ticking over.
“He’s not going to get you goals and assists and all this but he’s going to keep possession and I think that’s something that Everton lacked last season. They gave the ball away quite a lot, they weren’t defensively solid.
“So for someone like Winks to come in and try and control that midfield, it’s something that Frank Lampard will look to utilise.”

Winks played 30 games for Spurs last season, including 19 Premier League appearances.
The midfielder scored one goal and provided two assists for the London club.
