Pundit verdict on Scott McTominay joining West Ham after source’s reveal
Alan Hutton has suggested Scott McTominay may be put off a move to West Ham even if they don’t get relegated this season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said it will be a difficult move even if the Hammers stay in the Premier League.
On 20 February, sources told this site that David Moyes’ side could move for the 26-year-old in the summer as Man United prepare to listen to offers.

On 19 February, this site revealed that the Red Devils are confident that the midfielder will fetch £25million in the off-season.
The Scotland international’s current deal at Old Trafford runs until 2025 and includes the option of a further 12 months.
McTominay has made 16 league appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side this season but has only started seven of those games.
When asked if joining West Ham would be a good move for McTominay.
“I’m led to believe that it really depends where they finish the season,” he told Football Insider.
“If it does not go to plan and they go down then of course not, if they just stay up is that something that he can see himself going and helping them get back to where they were?

“Only him and the manager at the time can answer that.
“But coming from Man United where you are fighting on different fronts to go to a team that is in the relegation zone would be a difficult one for him I think.“
