‘Only one who can have any pride’ – Rangers fans rave about one player despite loss v Kilmarnock

Rangers fell to their second successive defeat in the Premiership on Saturday with a disappointing 0-1 defeat to Kilmarnock at Ibrox.

Kris Boyd’s second-half goal gave the away side all three points in a game that couldn’t have been further away from the Old Firm clash the week before.

The grit, determination and passion were missing from nearly all of Graeme Murty’s men yesterday – in fact only one player emerged with any credit.

Greg Docherty was head and shoulders above the rest of the Rangers players and fans were quick to point this out on Twitter.

Here are the best reactions from frustrated Rangers fans:

The result leaves Rangers in second place but Aberdeen are now only two points behind and have a game in hand.

It has to be seen as a blow to Murty getting the manager job on a full-time basis, although lifting the Scottish Cup and finishing runners-up in the league could be enough for him.
