Welsh international turned his season-long loan deal into a permanent move and has made the left-back berth his own since replacing the injured Lee Wallace earlier this season.
John is a constant attacking threat for Graeme Murty’s side and looks as if he is going to be part of the starting XI for a long time.
When Lee Wallace finally returns from injury he’s going to have a real fight on his hands to try to displace John after the way the former Cardiff defender has immediately become a key player for the Gers.
Needs to improve his defensive work a little but he’s still young and learning.
