Middleton might not come into the first-team right away but has the potential to be the best of all of Rangers’ signings this month.
The Scotland youth international moved to Ibrox in a deadline day swoop and is very highly rated.
The 18-year-old has worked with Murty before after the Gers boss coached him in Norwich’s youth set-up before moving to Ibrox in 2016.
Middleton has joined the Under-20’s for the time being but will likely move up to the senior squad before the season comes to an end.
