It is really strange that Allen did not move O’Halloran on in the January transfer window.
His loan deal at St Johnstone expired and there’s little doubt that Tommy Wright would have had him back at McDiarmid Park for the rest of the campaign.
But he is now in Glasgow and not even managing to get on the bench.
The ex-Bolton forward is nowhere near first-team plans at Ibrox so much just be released in the summer as no one will be daft enough to pay anything for him.
