Sources: Tottenham star set to now leave as Harry Kane ‘pulls the strings’
Tottenham will allow Eric Dier to depart the club once they have completed the signing of Radu Dragusin, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider broke the news early last Friday (5 January) that the centre-back has agreed terms with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and has been told by Spurs that he can leave.
It is believed that Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is eager to get the deal done this month and a fee of around £4.3million will be enough to seal the deal.

Football Insider revealed (9 January) that Spurs are confident that they will complete the permanent signing of Dragusin as well as the loan signing of LB Leipzig forward Timo Werner in the next 48 hours.
Tottenham have offered Genoa an initial £21.5million for the Romanian international plus an extra £4.3million in add-ons following a breakthrough in talks.
Ange Postecoglou admitted that the club could still afford to lose Dier despite the recent hamstring injury to Ben Davies.
Dier has made little impact under the Australian this season, who has played the likes of Emerson Royal out of position rather than field the Englishman.
He has played just 198 minutes in all competitions this season across four appearances.

Sources have also told Football Insider (6 January) that former teammate Harry Kane has ‘pulled the strings’ behind the scenes and pushed strongly to get Dier to Bayern, while Tuchel has already spoken to him to detail how he will fit into the team.
Tottenham sit fifth in the Premier League and recently advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup after their 1-0 win against Burnley on Friday (5 January).
