Tottenham tell Giovani Lo Celso to find new club as price revealed – sources
Tottenham have told Giovani Lo Celso he is free to find a new club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Spurs will accept a cut-price fee for the Argentina playmaker ahead of his contract expiring in June 2025.
Sources say a £15million bid is likely to be enough for any interested parties to agree a deal for the 28-year-old after Tottenham chiefs previously valued him at more than £50million.
Football Insider revealed in April that Spurs are expected to receive multiple offers for Lo Celso going into the summer window.
The midfielder is now likely to leave north London in the coming weeks as Ange Postecoglou looks to revamp his squad.
Giovani Lo Celso among several players Tottenham looking to sell
Lo Celso has largely underwhelmed during his five-year stint with Tottenham after arriving in a £60million deal from Real Betis.
The Argentine has registered just 10 goals and eight assists in 108 appearances after struggling to nail down a permanent spot in the starting lineup.
After returning to Spurs following a loan spell with Villarreal in 2022-23, Lo Celso registered two goals and two assists last season as he started in just six of his 24 outings.
That lack of game time is believed to have upset the player after sources told Football Insider he wants to quit the club and is pushing for an exit this summer.

Tottenham are now keen to offload Lo Celso after telling him he is free to join a new club once the transfer window reopens.
The midfielder is unlikely to be the only player heading for an exit after Football Insider revealed Spurs will listen to offers for eight more senior players this summer.
In other news, Tottenham have been told to sack Rodrigo Bentancur after what he did.
