Everton fans erupt over ‘tremendous’ Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall footage: ‘We are the funniest fanbase’

Everton fans have erupted in laughter as footage was shared of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s post-match interview after their 2-0 win over Burnley on Tuesday night.

The attacking midfielder spoke to TNT Sports after the Toffees’ latest victory on home turf, and footage of the interview shared on social media captured Everton fans celebrating Wolves’ late winner against Liverpool in the background.

Supporters in the concourse of the Hill Dickinson Stadium could be heard cheering Andre’s stoppage-time goal at Molineux, which consigned their rivals to a first defeat in four Premier League games.

Everton’s win left their fanbase joyous, and they have since taken to X to revel in their rivals’ disappointment.

Everton fans in hysterics over Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall video

Dewsbury-Hall played a crucial role for David Moyes’ side yet again in their midweek victory, as he netted the second goal on the hour mark to seal the three points.

The former Chelsea man is now the joint-top scorer for the Toffees in league action so far this term, with only Thierno Barry able to match his tally of six strikes.

It has been a hugely productive campaign for the £28million summer signing, as he has notched nine goal contributions from just 22 league games so far.

However, despite his goal, it is footage of his post-match interview that has provided fans with further joy on this occasion.

Several Evertonians have reacted to the footage on X, and they are all finding it extremely funny.

One supporter labelled the footage as “tremendous,” while another suggested that Everton have “the funniest fanbase.”

Another fan outlined that “no one does a hate watch like Everton,” while the footage was also labelled as “brilliant.”

Dewsbury-Hall achieves Premier League best in win vs Burnley

Football Insider recently revealed that Everton won’t let Dewsbury-Hall leave the club this summer amid reports of recent interest from Tottenham, and that is no surprise given the impact that he has made.

The 27-year-old has quickly become a crucial part of Moyes’ plans on Merseyside, and he has been forced to take on an increasingly important creative role due to Jack Grealish’s injury.

Tuesday’s goal has now taken the former Leicester City man into uncharted territory, due to the fact that he has now surpassed his previous best goalscoring season as a top-flight player.

According to Opta Analyst via their X account, the only year of his career when he has bettered his current tally was 2023-24, when he struck 12 goals in the Championship for the Foxes.

Everton have certainly reaped the benefits of his signing so far, and it would be no surprise to see him stretch his impressive record even further before the end of the season.
