'Huge coup', 'He will be the answer' – Newcastle fans in meltdown at huge attacker development
Newcastle fans have reacted to the news that Chelsea winger Kenedy is having a medical at Newcastle head of his loan move.
Lee Ryder confirmed the news after pictures of him arriving at Newcastle were posted on the Chronicle’s website on Tuesday morning (11.15am).
Kenedy will become Newcastle’s first signing of the January window if his medical goes through.
Newcastle fans are delighted at the prospect of finally getting someone through the day, with one fan saying that Kenedy “will be the answer”.
Another said it was a “huge coup” while another was already looking ahead to the next transfer, asking Newcastle to sign Javier Hernandez.
The loan deal for Kenedy should be announced imminently, with Rafa Benitez reportedly in the market for a mystery £20m striker.
