How to watch Rangers vs Celtic: TV channel, live stream and kick-off time

Rangers host Celtic on Sunday as the Old Firm sides take on each other in the Scottish Cup.

Last weekend, both sides were unable to get a victory as they played out a 2-2 draw in the Scottish Premiership.

Danny Rohl’s side would have felt aggrieved that they were unable to hold their 2-0 lead at half-time as Martin O’Neill oversaw a sensational comeback.

Nevertheless, this weekend, one team is guaranteed to go home disappointed with a place in the semi-finals up for grabs.

Following the Celtic matchday newsFootball Insider has explained below how you can watch the upcoming Old Firm derby.

What’s Celtic’s record vs Rangers in the cups

While Keith Wyness has criticised Celtic and Rangers’ performance in Europe when exclusively speaking to Football Insider, domestically, they have dominated the cups.

Celtic have also won the last five cup meetings between the teams – the last three requiring penalties, extra-time or a last-minute goal.

Rangers’ last win in the cup in the Old Firm derby came in the Scottish Cup semi-finals in the 2021-22 campaign, with Celtic losing 2-1 in extra-time.

Last season, the Hoops missed out on the Scottish Cup last season after being defeated by Aberdeen on penalties in the final.

In comparison, Rangers suffered a shock defeat to Queens Park at Ibrox in the fifth round.

Celtic’s last triumph in the competition came in 2024, where they beat the Gers in the final.

Rangers have not won the Scottish Cup since 2022, when they overcame Heart of Midlothian to win the cup.

With the winner of Sunday’s clash likely to be the favourites to win the trophy, extra emphasis will be on progressing, especially as winning the cup guarantees Europa League football next season.
