Jack Grealish sends heartwarming message to Dwight McNeil after Everton vs Burnley
Jack Grealish continued to share the love with Dwight McNeil despite the Everton star battling to return from his season-ending injury.
The Man City loanee could only watch on as the Toffees secured a 2-0 win over Burnley on Tuesday, 3 March, with James Tarkowski and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall getting the Hill Dickinson Stadium bouncing.
It marked David Moyes’ side’s first win at home since a 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest in December, and while he couldn’t get on the scoresheet, there was a lot of praise for McNeil.
Keith Wyness told Football Insider last month that Crystal Palace missed out on McNeil “on purpose” during the winter transfer window, leaving the player crushed by his current situation.

The 26-year-old appeared to be set for a move to Selhurst Park, only for the Eagles to pull out at the 11th hour, but his career seems to have been revitalised in recent weeks on Merseyside.
Wanting to send love to McNeil after his exit saga during the winter transfer window, the official club account wrote, “Plenty of love after a superb showing from our No.7,” with a clapping emoji.
“Well deserved, Dwight,” they continued, with Grealish commenting on the post: “So deserved,” with love heart emojis, as the winger continues to recover from his injury on the sidelines.
McNeil has now started back-to-back Premier League games, impressing against both Burnley and Newcastle United, and rightly earning his plaudits at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

In what the player lacks in goal involvements, he certainly makes up for with his work ethic, proving to Moyes that he still has the desire to fight and play for Everton.
He attempted three dribbles, made seven passes into the final third, made 10 recoveries and entered into 10 duels in total, albeit not always coming out on the winning side.
With Grealish likely to be sidelined until the end of the season, his spike in form has come at the perfect time for the Toffees, and it could have a bearing on his future in the summer.
