Phillips backs Costa being sold by Leeds amid reported £40m update
Helder Costa will be forced to make way at Leeds United should they sign Adama Traore this summer.
That is according to ex-Premier League goalscorer Kevin Phillips, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Eurosport reported on 15th June that Leeds are eyeing a £40million swoop for the 25-year-old Wolves winger.

Costa, 27, is contracted to Leeds until 2024 after signing permanently last summer in a reported £16m deal.
But the Portuguese has struggled at Elland Road in the top-flight and started just 13 matches in the league all season in 2020-21.
Phillips insists that Traore’s potential arrival would herald the end of Costa’s career in West Yorkshire.
He told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs: “Listen, if he is to come in, someone is probably going to have to make way.
“The way it’s looking at the moment, it would, unfortunately, probably be him.
“It would be quite ironic that he was at Wolves and it might well be another Wolves player coming in for him as well.
“It’s amazing how football works out like that sometimes, isn’t it?”

Costa spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Leeds from Wolves as they won promotion from the Championship.
The one-cap Portugal international has netted eight times and supplied 11 assists across his two seasons with the club.
