Supercomputer predicts Liverpool to continue 15-year trend vs Wolves

Liverpool are predicted to come out victorious in their upcoming Premier League fixture against Wolves.

Arne Slot’s side are due to travel to Molineux on Tuesday to take on Rob Edwards’ team as the former looks to boost their Champions League hopes.

Liverpool have returned to form recently in the division and picked up their third consecutive victory in the Premier League after they beat West Ham 5-2 on Saturday.

However, despite Wolves’ position in the table, they could be a tricky opponent, with the club beating fourth-place Aston Villa 2-0 on Friday.

Ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Opta has attempted to predict who will take the three points.

Liverpool heavy favourites for Wolves clash

According to Opta on 2 March, Liverpool are the overwhelming favourites to beat Wolves on Tuesday.

The supercomputer has given Slot’s side a 63.4 per cent chance of winning the match, whereas Edwards’ side have just a 17.1 per cent chance.

The odds of a draw are also low at 19.5 per cent.

If Liverpool can achieve the victory, it will continue their fantastic Premier League record at Molineux, where they have won eight of their last nine visits, dating back to 2011.

However, it remains to be seen if Liverpool can pull off four successive wins in the Premier League as they look to leapfrog Aston Villa before their match against Chelsea on Wednesday.
