Fringe player has plenty to offer: Three thing learned from Rangers win v Motherwell

Kranjcar isn’t quite finished yet

Rangers

Nobody will try and pretend the Niko Kranjcar that plays for Rangers is on the same level as the Niko Kranjcar who played for Spurs and Portsmouth.

The Croatian is a clearly in the twilight of his career and is never going to be the player a manager builds a team around but his display against Motherwell suggests that there’s still a little bit left in the tank for the fringe player.

Kranjcar is streets ahead of many of his team-mates when it comes to reading the game and spotting a pass and cut open the Well defence on a number of occasions.

If Graeme Murty can manage the Croat and get some more performances like that from him then the former New York Cosmos star can still have a big part to play this season.

In other Rangers news, Gers fans tore into this one player for his performance against Motherwell.
