Tottenham owners a total embarrassment as relegation blame aimed at PGMOL
Joe Lewis and the ENIC Group are already attempting to pass the buck as Tottenham Hotspur drift ever-closer to Premier League relegation.
With former Juventus boss Igor Tudor now in charge, Tottenham sit 16th in the Premier League table after 28 matches, just four points above the dropzone.
A similar form also saw Ange Postecoglou removed from his post during the summer, only for the same to happen to Thomas Frank as recently as last month.
Borussia Dortmund have no desire to let Niko Kovac leave, Football Insider understands, with Tudor already under pressure after back-to-back defeats, and that is only the tip of the iceberg for mistakes in North London.
His comments about Arsenal have not been the most helpful, either.

The blame for performances on the pitch ultimately falls on the manager, the figure in the dugout making all the decisions, but the problems run so much deeper than that at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Despite knowing the trouble that Spurs were facing this season, the hierarchy invested in just four players during the winter transfer window – Mason Melia, Conor Gallagher, Souza and James Wilson.
Only one of the quartet, Gallagher, is being given regular minutes, with Melia and Wilson seen as players for the future, even with all the long-term injuries currently troubling the manager.
Lewis and Co. could have shown the supporters just how much they care for the club, splashing the cash during the winter. Instead, the blame is being aimed at Howard Webb, the head of PGMOL.
Joe Lewis ENIC Group to blame for Premier League relegation
According to BBC Sport (3 March), Spurs have written to the PGMOL to raise concerns over key refereeing decisions, which is especially key after contrasting conclusions against Arsenal and Fulham.
Randal Kolo Muani saw a goal ruled out for a contentious push on Gabriel Magalhaes, but just one game later, Harry Wilson’s opener for Fulham was allowed to stand despite a blatant foul on Radu Dragusin.
While there is clearly a need for an explanation, teams up and down the division are being plagued by poor refereeing decisions. This feels like nothing more than a distraction from the owners’ failures off the pitch.
What do they expect to happen? Games get replayed? Points get added on? No. Spurs are well-amongst a Premier League relegation battle. They can cry over past results, or they admit their mistakes behind the scenes.
