Everton will accept a “significant” offer for Amadou Onana this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Toffees would be more willing to let Onana, 22, depart than some of their other stars.

Sources have told Football Insider that Sean Dyche’s side will “definitely” listen to offers for the Belgium international in the off-season.

Football Insider also revealed (1 April) that the Merseysiders value Onana in excess of £60million amid interest from West Ham United and Newcastle United.

O’Rourke also claimed that Dyche’s outfit has been “planning for life” without the midfielder considering his recent lack of minutes.

He has made just one Premier League start in the Toffees’ last five games, with his recent start coming in their 6-0 thrashing against Chelsea last month (15 April) where he was hauled off at halftime.

It is believed that Everton would rather keep both Jarrad Branthwaite and Jordan Pickford at the club for next season.

Football Insider revealed (3 May) that the club trying to persuade Branthwaite to stay on for one more season amid interest from Man United, who have made the central defender their top summer target.

Amid continued financial strife at Goodison Park, it is believed that the Toffees will be able to keep hold of the likes of Branthwaite if they sanction Onana’s expected mega-money departure.
