Exclusive: West Ham ready big overhaul as multiple first-XI stars to be let go

West Ham are preparing for yet another big transfer overhaul in the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

The Irons backed Julen Lopetegui with huge transfer funds last year (2024) but replaced the Spaniard with Graham Potter in January.

Football Insider revealed earlier this month (14 April) that Potter wants to be backed heavily in the transfer market this summer after his disappointing start to life at West Ham.

The London Stadium outfit sit 17th in the Premier League after collapsing to a 3-2 defeat away at Brighton – having lead 2-1 in the 89th minute.

Kudus and Soucek could depart West Ham this summer

West Ham could allow a number of first-team stars to depart as they look to fund a new wave of transfer arrivals and back Potter.

Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on 25 April that West Ham would be prepared to accept offers of £70million for Mohammed Kudus amid interest from Liverpool.

Kudus has an £80million release clause for domestic clubs in his contract but sources say he could be allowed to leave for below that fee.

Sources have also told Football Insider (25 April) that West Ham will listen to offers of £10-15million for Tomas Soucek amid interest from Leeds and Everton.

Loan stars Carlos Soler and Evan Ferguson are expected to return to their parent clubs, while Danny Ings, Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell are out of contract in June.

Potter sack latest from West Ham

Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (13 April) that West Ham are unlikely to sack Potter in the summer despite frustrations surrounding a disappointing season.

He has won just three of 15 games in charge at the London Stadium since succeeding Lopetegui in early January.

The Irons boss signed a contract running until June 2027 upon his arrival.
