Sources: Duncan Ferguson plotting to sign in-form Celtic product Grant Savoury
Forest Green Rovers, Bradford City and Carlisle are plotting moves for Queen’s Park attacker Grant Savoury, sources have told Football Insider.
Savoury, 22, has impressed for Queen’s Park this season and has been instrumental in helping them to the top of the Scottish Championship table.
The former Celtic youngster has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in all competitions for Queen’s Park so far this season and his form has attracted interest from clubs in England.
League One Forest Green, managed by Everton legend Duncan Ferguson, and League Two duo Bradford and Carlisle have scouted Savoury on a regular basis this season and they are ready to move for the attacking midfielder in the summer.
Savoury’s current contract at Ochilview Park runs until 2024.
Queen’s Park are currently top of the Scottish Championship with 51 points from 28 games and are four points clear of second-placed Dundee who have a game in hand.
Savoury was named Championship player of the month for December, with manager Owen Coyle taking the award for manager of the month.
As quoted by The Herald after receiving the award (10 January), the 22-year-old said he knows he has to offer more than just scoring goals to keep progressing in his career.
The attacking midfielder has made 36 appearances across all competitions for the Spiders this season and has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in those outings.

Savoury worked his way through the ranks at Celtic before leaving the club in 2020.
He then joined Peterhead in October 2021 before making the move to the Championship leaders last summer.
