Sources: Inter Milan ‘definitely’ willing to accept bid for star wanted by Leeds
Leeds United have endured a mixed start to the season following their promotion to the Premier League despite facing some frustrating results.
Daniel Farke’s side lost 2-0 to Burnley last time out, as Leeds now sit 16th in the Premier League with two wins, two draws and four defeats from eight games.
As a result, the boss is aiming to bolster his squad during the mid-season transfer window in a bid to improve their chances of survival.
Football Insider revealed on 7 October that Leeds are prioritising attacking additions, with a striker and a winger currently at the top of their list of targets.
However, they have also set their sights on a new addition in midfield and are keeping a close eye on one Inter Milan star ahead of the January window.

Leeds United plotting Piotr Zielinski move after Inter Milan latest
Leeds have been long-term admirers of Piotr Zielinksi, having also considered a move to sign him during the summer, but ultimately nothing materialised.
Now, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, there is a growing feeling that the midfielder will be allowed to leave Inter Milan in January, which has put Leeds on alert alongside a number of other clubs.
Zielinski has yet to start a league game so far this season and would be open to a move, with Leeds plotting an ambitious move to bolster their squad.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “He was linked with Leeds in the summer window and they were linked with a couple of other midfielders as well.
“He is well down the pecking order at the San Siro. He’s struggled for game time, had just two starts in the Champions League, so he’s not started a Serie A game.
“Inter are definitely open to his departure to try and save some money and boost their own transfer coffers. Whether they’ll be able to sell Zielinski to Leeds, that remains to be seen.

“He’s 31 now, but I still feel he’s got a lot to offer and the player himself would be interested in a move away in January in search of regular first team football.
“If he’s not going to be getting that at Inter, he will maybe seek a move away.”
While Zielinksi would be considered an ambitious option for Farke’s side, they have been given confidence by Inter’s stance om his potential departure.
Gustavo Hamer is still on Leeds’ radar
Leeds’ current midfield options have impressed this season, but they want to bolster the position and are making plans in January, more likely with an attack-minded option in mind.
Both Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff arrived at Elland Road during the summer, but there is a growing feeling they are not content with their current options.
Football Insider revealed on 17 October that Leeds are interested in signing Gustavo Hamer and have been long-term targets of the midfielder after missing out last summer.

However, Football Insider revealed on 19 October that Sheffield United will block Hamer’s exit in January as he remains a crucial part of their squad.
Chris Wilder has no intention of losing his best player mid-way through the season, although they may be forced to entertain offers come the end of the season.
