‘Arsenal to seal sensational Joshua Kimmich deal’ – Fans wowed by transfer update
Arsenal fans have taken to social media in response to reports linking the club with Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich
The Gunners are preparing for a midfield overhaul in the summer, with both Thomas Partey and Jorginho nearing the end of their contracts.
Despite the Ghanaian playing a key role in defensive midfield this season, Arsenal are open to letting Partey leave to free up his £150,000-a-week wages.
Interestingly, back in September, Football Insider revealed that Arsenal plan to sign two midfield replacements if neither Partey nor Jorginho extend their stay in North London.
With Real Madrid now in the race for priority target Martin Zubimendi, it appears Mikel Arteta’s side are considering other options, with Kimmich emerging as a serious alternative.

Arsenal step up interest in Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich
According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal have “concrete interest” in Kimmich, with the Bayern Munich midfielder available on a free transfer this summer.
The German international has yet to agree a new contract and is reportedly “hesitant” amid interest from a Premier League club.
Former Tottenham defender Michael Dawson has backed Arsenal to sign Kimmich, calling it a “no-brainer” as he would be a more than capable replacement for either Jorginho or Thomas Partey.
If both midfielders depart, Arsenal will be left short in the middle of the park, making the prospect of landing a player of Kimmich’s calibre—without a transfer fee—all the more appealing for supporters.
Arsenal fans urge club to secure Kimmich as midfield changes loom

Arteta’s transfer priorities have been questioned after the club failed to sign a forward in January, despite struggling for goals. Instead, Arsenal focused on midfield reinforcements, with a move for Zubimendi looking close at one stage.
With no attacking addition secured, Arteta has had to rely on 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri, while Mikel Merino has been used as a makeshift centre-forward.
While signing a forward is still a necessity, wrapping up a deal for Kimmich—especially with Partey and Jorginho expected to leave—has excited fans. One supporter summed up the mood, saying: “We need a few players like this littered through the team to get us over the line.”
