‘Chelsea must terminate Jadon Sancho deal’ – fans fume as new details emerge

Chelsea fans were left frustrated after being defeated on derby day against Arsenal, with Jadon Sancho struggling to make an impact.

Mikel Merino’s 20th-minute goal proved to be the decider at the Emirates Stadium as the Blues failed to provide any answer to Mikel Arteta’s side.

Chelsea only managed two shots on target throughout the 90 minutes as they provided very little attacking threat against the Gunners.

The Blues failed to capitalise on Man City’s draw at the weekend as the opportunity was there to extend their gap over the fifth-placed team.

Instead, Chelsea now remain just one point ahead of Pep Guardiola’s team with nine matches left in the Premier League season.

The Blues will be back in action on 3 April when in another derby game against Tottenham.

Jadon Sancho was underwhelming against Arsenal

Sancho played for 76 minutes against Arsenal but struggled to make any impact in the final third, having zero shots on goal.

The England international had just 34 touches, with none of them taking place inside the Arsenal box.

It continued Sancho’s poor run of form for the Blues as he has failed to provide consistent goal contributions.

Chelsea fans are frustrated with Sancho

The Blues are expected to sign Sancho on a permanent contract at the end of the season as part of the loan deal, as they will have to pay a significant fee to cancel that.

However, that’s exactly what Chelsea fans want to see happen as they claimed Sancho delivered a “pathetic” performance.

Supporters admitted they “hope we don’t sign him” after deciding that he’s “not good.”
