Oliver Glasner has turned Crystal Palace’s season around after a difficult start, and fans now want to see him rewarded.

The Eagles found themselves in and amongst the relegation zone back in November, which led to major question marks about Glasner’s long-term future.

Some fans had called for Glasner to lose his job amid early-season worries, but Palace chiefs opted to stay loyal to the 50-year-old and that trust was rewarded.

Glasner has managed to completely transform Palace’s season to the point where they could end up finishing in the top half of the Premier League table when all is said and done.

Palace are currently 11th in the Premier League after 28 games and are just three points behind Fulham in 10th place as they look to kick on in the remaining 10 matches.

Palace also remain in the FA Cup and have a quarter-final fixture against Fulham coming up on 29 March as they look to book a trip to Wembley.

Crystal Palace could reward Oliver Glasner

Fabrizio Romano revealed that Palace have now opened talks with Glasner over a new contract, with the club looking to pin him down for the long term.

Discussions are underway between the club and manager about future plans for Palace, including the expected budget for the summer transfer window.

The Austrian is currently under contract at Selhurst Park until 2026, but Palace chiefs want to tie him down to a longer deal.

Glasner originally joined Palace in 2024, and while he’s had plenty of ups and downs in that time he has won over the fanbase.

Supporters are actively pushing the club to get the deal done after he “steadied the ship” during his spell in charge so far.
