Everton fans are fuming after Sky journalist’s Dele Alli update

Everton supporters have urged the club not to waste more time on “dreadful” Dele Alli after a new report provided an update on his status in the game.

According to Sky Sports’ Alan Myers, the 28-year-old is expected to feature for Everton’s Under-21s in the near future.

Alli is no longer contracted with the Merseyside giants, but he has been continuing to train and use their facilities to rehab as he attempts to get his career back on track.

Myers also revealed on Twitter, “As far as I’m aware deal has been agreed I principle, but that will only kick in once he’s fit and ready to play.”

The central midfielder has previously made 13 appearances for Everton during his previous spell with the club but was unable to rediscover his past form.

The former England international has made 194 appearances in the Premier League throughout his career, scoring 51 goals and providing 34 assists.

Everton fans are ready to move on from Dele Alli

Alli’s impending return to football is a positive situation for him and his career, but Everton fans have questioned why they’re “flogging a dead horse,” and continuing to try and make it work.
