Man United are preparing to keep their only hopes of silverware alive in the Europa League this week, and the team have been given a significant boost ahead of that game.
United’s squad has been destroyed by injuries this season with the club currently missing; Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, and Amad Diallo due to various issues.
It has stretched Ruben Amorim’s options thin on a matchday and has stopped him from truly creating a regular starting lineup to build on.
That has been reflected in the inconsistent results that the team has provided throughout the campaign, leaving them 14th in the Premier League table.
Amorim is under increasing pressure from United fans to turn around the dismal spell that the club are enduring at the moment.

United have the chance to give fans something to cheer about on Thursday (13 March) when they play Real Sociedad in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 match with the score currently level at 1-1.
Mason Mount has made a significant step up in his recovery
Mount hasn’t been seen since the Manchester derby back in December, but the club confirmed that the England international is now back in team training.
The attacking midfielder was involved in United’s open session ahead of their upcoming Europa League match against Real Sociedad, giving a serious shot in the arm to Amroim’s options.
However, during his pre-match press conference Amorim did state that Thursday will be “too soon” for the 26-year-old to feature.

United fans haven’t been able to see the best out of Mount due to the torrid time he’s had with injuries since making the move from Chelsea.
However, that hasn’t stopped fans from believing in him as they feel he “suits Amorim’s system to perfection” if he can remain fit.
