Maxime Esteve shares heartfelt message after Burnley bus parade
Maxime Esteve had a heartfelt message for his team and the supporters after Burnley’s bus parade following their promotion to the Premier League.
Burnley closed out their campaign with a 3-1 win over Millwall, finishing on an impressive 100 points in the Championship.
However, they narrowly missed out on the title in dramatic fashion, as Manor Solomon’s stoppage-time winner for Leeds saw the Yorkshire side clinch top spot by the slimmest of margins.
Despite the late heartbreak, Burnley marked their immediate return to the Premier League in style with a celebratory bus parade through the city on 6 May.
Following the celebrations, Esteve shared a message dedicated to both the squad and the fans, recognising what has been a remarkable season under Scott Parker.

Maxime Esteve celebrates promotion with Burnley fans amid Premier League interest
The French defender shared a series of photos from Burnley’s promotion parade on Instagram, captioned: “What a wonderful way to round off this wonderful season! Up the Clarets.”
Esteve played a key role in a historic season for Burnley’s defence, helping the side keep 30 clean sheets – matching the Football League record set by Port Vale in 1953/54 and setting a new Championship benchmark.
However, his standout performances have caught the eye as both Crystal Palace and Everton are tracking Esteve in a summer move.
Football Insider revealed that Everton are eyeing Esteve as a potential replacement for Jarrad Branthwaite, who is yet to agree a contract extension amid uncertainty over his future.
The Toffees are said to be “desperate” to keep Branthwaite, but if no deal is reached, they are likely to step up their interest in Esteve.
Josh Brownhill also attracting Premier League interest amid contract uncertainty

Esteve isn’t the only Burnley player linked with a top-flight move. Football Insider also revealed both Everton and West Ham are monitoring Josh Brownhill’s situation closely as he approaches the end of his current deal.
The club captain has enjoyed a standout season, scoring 18 goals and registering six assists in 42 appearances. However, with no agreement yet in place for a contract extension, speculation around his future is growing.
Burnley are expected to hold talks with Brownhill in the coming weeks, but it remains to be seen whether key members of Scott Parker’s side will stay on for their return to the Premier League.
