Revealed: Chelsea’s stance on terminating Enzo Maresca deal
Chelsea are vying to hold on to their brightest stars amid intense interest from across Europe, including Enzo Maresca.
The Blues are battling to retain key personnel in their squad as sources told Football Insider that Real Madrid are eager to pinch Enzo Fernandez.
The Argentina international could be a part of a double swoop by Real Madrid to bring in Moises Caicedo to bolster Xabi Alonso‘s midfield.
Yet, attention is being focused on ensuring Juventus don’t steal Maresca from Chelsea after sources told Football Insider the Italian club are open to a reunion with their former player.

Maresca ‘fully focused’ on Chelsea as they eye up Premier League title in near future
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the former Leicester City boss will not be entertaining any approaches from la Vecchia Signora anytime soon.
Following the successes last season with the Conference League and the Club World Cup, it would be stupid for the Italian to leave Stamford Bridge with greater riches just round the corner.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “He’s fully focused on Chelsea right now.
“His focus is continuing to build on the success he had last season where got Chelsea back into the top four, into the Champions League, they won the Conference League, then they won the Club World Cup in the summer.

“This season, all focus will be seeing if he can improve on that and try and make Chelsea title contenders if possible.
“Chelsea are happy with Maresca, Maresca is happy at Chelsea. He’s under contract until 2029.
“He’s building a very talented young team there at Chelsea as well, so, I don’t think he’d be rushing out the door right now, but we know what management’s like.
“Things can quickly change if results go wrong.”
Chelsea to establish full backing of Maresca by landing Ronald Araujo in January
As a show of faith that the Italian is the long-term man for the Blues job, the club must fulfil their manager’s wishes by signing a centre-back in January.

Sources told Football Insider that Liverpool and Chelsea are both in the hunt for Ronald Araujo to appease their defensive fragilities.
Chelsea are praying that Barcelona’s financial constraints will force the sale of Araujo as they look to solidify a weak position in the team.
The Uruguayan is one of the finest defenders in Europe but can certainly be tempted by the chance to play in the Premier League.
