Darwin Nunez reacts to Lamine Yamal’s Barcelona message
Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez has responded to Lamine Yamal’s message after Barcelona beat local rivals Espanyol to clinch the La Liga title.
Similarly to Liverpool winning the Premier League title under Arne Slot, Barcelona have claimed La Liga glory in Hansi Flick’s first season in the dugout.
Barca have successfully earned their second Spanish top-flight title in three seasons, and Yamal has been at the heart of those efforts.
The teenage sensation has notched eight goals and 13 assists in 33 La Liga outings this term, and scored in a dramatic 4-3 win over bitter rivals Real Madrid on 11 May.

Yamal was the star of the show as Barcelona beat Espanyol 2-0 on Thursday, scoring an impressive goal before assisting Fermin Lopez.
After Barca’s victory over their local rivals, the 17-year-old posted on Instagram: “Born for this.”
Yamal’s message attracted a like from Liverpool’s Nunez as well as darting sensation Luke Littler and Barca teammate Raphinha.

Nunez could be set for the Liverpool exit door
The summer transfer window hands Slot the opportunity to build his own Liverpool squad after winning the Premier League with a squad made up almost entirely of Jurgen Klopp signings.

But while the Dutchman is looking to acquire fresh talent at Anfield, such as Bayer Leverkusen ace Jeremie Frimpong, he will have to facilitate the exits of some of his current squad.
Nunez is one Liverpool player who could be set for the exit door, as he has fallen out of favour under Slot, having made just eight Premier League starts this season.
The Uruguayan has heaped further questioning over his ability in the final third, as he has scored just seven goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
While Slot looks to win even more silverware with the Reds next season, Nunez’s time with the Merseyside giants may have come to an end.
The former Benfica man has failed to become a real asset for Liverpool.
