‘West Ham are finished under Graham Potter’ after public apology – fans explode
West Ham were handed their latest defeat in the Premier League on Monday (10 March) as question marks over Graham Potter have emerged.
The Hammers were defeated at home against Newcastle United in a 1-0 loss after a Bruno Guiamaraes goal as their difficult campaign continues to drag on.

West Ham currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, and while they have a 16-point cushion over the relegation zone the season has proven to be a struggle.
West Ham have won just nine of their 28 Premier League fixtures to this point, while only the four teams below them have conceded more goals.
The club made the decision to fire Julen Lopetegui back in January to try and change their fortunes, with Potter making his return to football to fill the vacant position.

Graham Potter has struggled to turn around West Ham’s fortunes
Potter has only won three in nine matches across all competitions since he took charge of West Ham as he has struggled to make a significant impact on the team.
During his post-match interview, Potter spoke about the ongoing issues at West Ham and how he plans to address them.
He said, “I apologise if things aren’t happening quicker than we want them to, but I think when you see the players give everything, the commitment is there.
“That’s a strong start point and foundation, then we obviously always want to look to improve.”

West Ham fans believe Graham Potter isn’t good enough
Potter might have made a public apology to West Ham fans, but that hasn’t appeased supporters at this stage.
Fans have claimed that the former Chelsea and Brighton boss is “not good enough” as they are starting to worry about being “finished” if the current version of the team is an example of them giving “everything.”
