Derek McInnes agreement reached among Rangers fans after Danny Rohl sack latest
Rangers fans have made it clear that Derek McInnes should be the club’s top target if Danny Rohl were to be sacked.
Rohl has come under heavy scrutiny in recent weeks, with the Gers looking likely to end the campaign trophyless after their Scottish Cup penalty defeat to Celtic.
As a result, Rangers could be on the hunt for a new man in the dugout yet again in a bid to return the Scottish Premiership title to Ibrox.
Now, many fans have indicated that they want McInnes to become the next Rangers manager, with the 54-year-old currently doing a remarkable job at Heart of Midlothian this season.

Going into the final matches of the 2025-26 campaign, Hearts are on course for a remarkable Scottish Premiership title.
The Jambos have overcome both Rangers and Celtic this season and sit five points clear at the summit.
Much of this is down to the work of McInnes, who has turned Hearts into a team that is difficult to beat and can grind out results no matter how the odds are stacked against them.
As a result, if Rohl is sacked, Rangers fans believe that McInnes would be the right man to lead them forward and finally end their long wait for a Scottish Premiership title.
McInnes would be a good long term option for us.

For me.
McInnes or Muscat.
Could Danny Rohl be sacked by Rangers?
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider that Rohl will be under immense pressure if Rangers do not finish the campaign on a high.
Currently, the Gers could still win the Scottish Premiership title, with the club being only six points behind Hearts.
However, they could also be sent down into the Conference League with a fourth-place finish, with Motherwell only being four points behind the Gers.

If the latter scenario becomes a reality, it would surely see the end of Rohl’s reign, with a place in the Conference League being a massive embarrassment for the club.
While this could still happen with a third-place finish if Celtic do not win the Scottish Cup, this is highly unlikely given the sides left in the competition.
However, it remains to be seen if Rohl is able to turn results around at Rangers, or if the manager’s reign will now collapse.
