‘Liverpool will make a massive addition’ this summer – fans thrilled by news
Liverpool are going to be attempting to bolster their squad during the summer transfer window to financially back Arne Slot.
The Reds are currently dominating the Premier League under Slot’s first season in charge, with the club seven points clear at the top of the table at the moment.
Football Insider revealed that Liverpool are looking to sign a new striker in the summer, as Diogo Jota doesn’t fit into Slot’s long-term plans.
Well-placed sources have informed Football Insider that Liverpool have “very strong” interest in Alexander Isak, with the Newcastle being a top target for the club.
However, that isn’t the only position that the Premier League giants are going to be focusing on during the upcoming window.
Liverpool could potentially have three crucial players to replace as Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Mohamed Salah are all out of contract at the end of the season.

Liverpool are targeting Frenkie de Jong
According to TeamTalk, Liverpool are contemplating a move for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old will be out of contract with the La Liga giants in 2026, which could lead to Barcelona cashing in on him next summer.

However, the midfielder’s high salary could be a potential roadblock in any Liverpool pursuit as he would need to take a pay cut to join the Reds in the summer.
De Jong is also keen to fulfil his entire contract at Camp Nou, but Barcelona are willing to listen to offers in the region of £29million as they want to reduce their wage bill.

Frenkie de Jong would be a good fit in Arne Slot’s squad
Liverpool fans are excited about the prospect of signing De Jong as they believe the club are “aiming big” by targeting him.
The Netherlands international is being seen as a potentially “massive addition” to Slot’s squad moving forward.
