‘Man United are disgraceful and disgusting’ – fans rage at ‘joke’ new statement
Man United are having a season to forget both and off the pitch in what is starting to become a disastrous period in the club’s rich history.
The 20-time champions are currently 15th in the Premier League table after winning just eight games from their first 26.
Position | Team | Played | GD | Points |
10. | Fulham | 26 | +3 | 39 |
11. | Brentford | 26 | +5 | 37 |
12. | Tottenham | 26 | +15 | 33 |
13. | Crystal Palace | 26 | -1 | 33 |
14. | Everton | 26 | -4 | 31 |
15. | Man United | 26 | -7 | 30 |
United parted ways with Erik ten Hag earlier in the season in a bid to turn things around, but Ruben Amorim has found life at Old Trafford just as difficult.
United are currently without a win in their past three Premier League fixtures, which they will attempt to change on Wednesday (26 February) when they face Ipswich Town.
However, it has been just as tough off the pitch for United as the club have made several controversial decisions in a bid to save money.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has raised ticket prices at Old Trafford while the club also cancelled Christmas parties and slashed festive bonuses for many staff members.

Jim Ratcliffe is taking more cost-cutting measures
United are set to make even further redundancies at the club this week with a further 200 workers potentially losing their job, which comes on top of the 250 who were let go from their roles last summer.
This has been part of what United are officially branding as a “transformation plan” to help provide a stable financial platform for the club to improve and move forward.
United are also ending free staff lunches at Old Trafford, which is expected to save the club £1million per year.
The Premier League giants are also going to be reducing staff bonuses in a myriad of changes that have proven unpopular with supporters.

Man United supporters are furious with the decisions being made
United fans have been left stunned by the decisions made by the football club, and admitted they have become a “joke” within the industry.
Others have questioned why they aren’t “getting rid of Casemiro and Mount” rather than “ruining thousands of innocent lives.”
