‘Man United are finished’ as jaw-dropping Ten Hag news emerges – fans erupt

Man United are in the midst of an abysmal season on and off the pitch, with wretched results and hugely unpopular business decisions testing the patience of the club’s supporters.

United have struggled to perform this season which has left them 15th in the Premier League table, with fans more concerned about the relegation battle than a fight for European football.

It has also been a tough year in the boardroom as INEOS have made decisions such as raising ticket prices that have led to frustrations amongst supporters.

Former United chief scout Mick Brown revealed to Football Insider that United are suffering from “total mismanagement” by INEOS as they plan to offload up to 200 employees.

That is on top of the 250 United staff members who have been dismissed previously by INEOS, much to the frustration of supporters.

INEOS have been making cost-cutting decisions that have impacted fans and have simply provided a poor outlook such as cancelling work Christmas events.

There are now concerns that those decisions could lead to mass protests from United fans as their frustrations have risen to a boiling point.

Erik ten Hag instructing the Man United team

Erik ten Hag was given an eye-watering pay out

United opted to part ways with Ten Hag in October after a disappointing season, which led to Ruben Amorim being brought into the dugout.

However, behind the scenes the situation was more complicated as it cost the 20-time champions an eye-watering £14.5million to sack the Dutch coach.

United had offered Ten Hag a new contract in the summer after he led the club to the FA Cup, which now looks like a baffling business decision.

Man United are in a worrying position

The high payout for Ten Hag is the latest in a series of money-related issues that have alarmed United supporters this season, especially with the threat of profit and sustainability.

The possibility of a points deduction next season is something that the club can potentially ill-afford given their Premier League form.

Some fans have admitted that the club is “finished” as others stated that the club has been in “decline over the last 12 years.”
