Tottenham fans savage ‘disgraceful’ Maddison and Johnson as footage analysed

Tottenham supporters have savaged James Maddison and Brennan Johnson for attending the World Darts Championships on Sunday (29 December) after failing to defeat Wolves earlier in the day.

Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw by the struggling Midlands club after conceding an 87th-minute equaliser from Jorgen Strand Larsen.

The draw saw Tottenham slump to 11th in the Premier League table as they currently sit 11 points behind the Champions League places.

However, that didn’t stop Maddison and Johnson from attending the World Darts Championship later on that evening.

The Spurs duo watched the competition together but received complaints from fans for doing so.

Maddison is a well-known darts fan and often pretends to throw one during his goal celebration and he told a fan to “shut up” after they called him out.
