James Maddison shares Tottenham injury update pre-Man United clash

Tottenham midfielder James Maddison took to social media to share an injury update ahead of their Premier League game with Man United.

The North London club have confirmed that Maddison, 28, is available for selection, alongside Destiny Udogie, for the game against Ruben Amorim’s side.

Maddison has missed Tottenham’s last five games across all competitions with a calf injury, with Ange Postecoglu’s side being knocked out of the League Cup and FA Cup in their previous two games.

Tottenham continue to struggle under the Australian, sitting in 14th with eight wins, three draws, 13 defeats, and just 27 points from their 24 games.

Football Insider revealed (February 10) that Postecoglu still has the backing of Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and the Spurs board despite their poor run of form.

Football Insider also revealed (February 13) that Levy may not be in charge for much longer with Tottenham’s proposed takeover set to be worth less than £3billion as Qatari investors look to take control of the club.

Maddison took to Instagram to share an injury update with the fans ahead of the game with Man United, looking determined.

The England international, alongside Archie Gray, also appeared to have some fun at the expense of new Tottenham signing Mathys Tel.

Spurs will travel to relegation-threatened Ipswich Town after their game against Ruben Amorim’s Man United as they seek to salvage their season.
