Wolves news: Medical expert salutes new rule change as Romain Saiss speaks out
It is positive that the Premier League have introduced new measures to accommodate Muslims like Wolves star Romain Saiss during Ramadan.
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
Saiss, 32, is one of many Muslim footballers who do not eat or drink until after sundown during the month of Ramadan, which will last until 1 May.

The Morrocan defender told Sky Sports last Wednesday (6 April) about the benefits of the Wolves-backed Muslim Athletes Charter.
The terms of the charter commit signees to provide better access to halal foods and prayer facilities as well as nutritional care during Ramadan.
And the Premier League has this year codified rules over extra drinks breaks for footballers who must break their fast during evening games.
Dinnery saluted the league’s decision-makers for introducing the new measures.
“It has come around at a good time of year in terms of the time they have to eat,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“Ramadan is brought forward by 10 days every year because of calendar differences.
“Elite-level athletes are well prepared to manage themselves during these periods.
“Even before they head into Ramadan, a lot of these athletes will do their own fasting so it isn’t as much of a shock to the system.
“It’s good they have done what they can to accommodate. We have a lot of practising Muslims in the Premier League.
“The league is fast-paced and high-intensity, so we need to make sure we’re doing everything we can to protect these players as well.”

Wolves are next in action at Burnley next Sunday (24 April).
Saiss has scored three times in 29 appearances this term.
