Celtic’s team to face Hibernian in a potential title winning party at Easter Road was announced a short time ago, and one thing sticks out a mile away: Leigh Griffiths replaces Moussa Dembele.
The team was revealed on the club’s official Twitter account, and see the 27-year-old handed a start against the team he supports.

It is the first start in almost three months for Griffiths, who was out with a long-term calf injury suffered against Hibernian and has made only substitute appearances.
However, the absence of Dembele has handed Griffiths the chance to prove to Brendan Rodgers that he should be the main striker at Celtic Park.
When Griffiths plays he scores goals – this season alone he has scored 13 goals, in a season that has been full of injury problems and squad rotation.
With the recent excellent form of Dembele, culminating in a domination of Rangers in the recent Scottish Cup semi-final, and the emergence of Odsonne Edouard, it looked like Griffiths may be stuck on the sidelines for the rest of the season.
But Rodgers obviously has faith in Griffiths’ abilities, and he really should as he has scored 97 goals in his time with the Bhoys, and you wouldn’t bet against him adding to that tally as the Bhoys look to clinch the league title in style.
