'No balls', 'Losing faith in Poch' - Tottenham fans fume as 25-year-old starts v Watford

Tottenham fans have blasted manager Mauricio Pochettino for his decision to keep midfielder Christian Eriksen in the starting line-up for the game against Watford this afternoon.

Spurs face the Hornets in Premier League action at Vicarage Road on and will be looking to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat at Leicester on Tuesday.

Pochettino’s side have suffered a dip in from recently and will be looking to return to winning ways against a Watford side who are flying under their highly-rated manager Marco Silva.

Eriksen has been criticised by fans for his poor performances recently and Spurs fans have expressed their anger at Pochettino’s decision to not drop him, or Dele Alli, on Twitter.

Spurs have lost three of their last five Premier League matches and are without a win in their last three. The poor run has seen them fall to seventh place in the table, 16 points behind runaway leaders Manchester City in the title race.

They will be looking to put pressure on the league’s top-six this afternoon, with all of them in action this afternoon. Meanwhile, Watford are 8th in the Premier League table and will go into the game only three points behind Tottenham
