21-year-old proves his worth: Three things learned about Celtic in win v Brechin

Celtic returned from their winter break in Dubai with a comfortable 5-0 win over Championship side Brechin City in the Scottish Cup at Celtic Park on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers resisted the opportunity to make wholesale changes, playing arguably his strongest side with perhaps the exception of Odsonne Edouard replacing Moussa Dembele up-front.
As expected it was a comfortable victory for the Hoops, with goals from James Forrest and Scott Sinclair putting the game to bed in the first eleven minutes.
There were no further goals until the second-half before Olivier Ntcham, Dedryck Boyata and Odsonne Edouard completed the scoring.
Rodgers will be satisfied that his team returned from the break with a return to winning ways, but he will know that tougher matched lie ahead, beginning with Tuesday’s game against Partick Thistle.
