Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly given flop striker Vincent Janssen another chance at Tottenham but must now make a decision on three other Spurs stars.
The Daily Mail claims the Argentinian manager has afforded 22-year-old Janssen one more season to show his worth, after scoring just two Premier League goals for Spurs during 2016-17.
A £17million signing from AZ Alkmaar, Janssen was brought to north London after scoring 32 goals in 49 games but failed to replicate that kind of from in the shadow of Harry Kane.
However, Pochettino has handed the Holland international a lifeline in order to preserve his Spurs career, saving him from having to enter the transfer market to replace his number nine.
But the former Southampton manager should not be so sparing with three of Janssen’s teammates.
