Tottenham are on the verge of completing the signing of Serge Aurier from Paris St. Germain, according to a reliable journalist.
Sky Sports reporter Paul Gilmour claimed on his personal Twitter account on Saturday that the £23million deal has been agreed between the two club and after Aurier, 24, completed a medical, he is now due to complete his move subject to one final detail that is a work permit.

The 39-times Ivory Coast international has found himself deemed surplus to requirements at PSG after failing to be named in their matchday squad for any of their first five fixtures of the season.
It seems that Tottenham have lined up the two-times Ligue 1 winner as a replacement for Kyle Walker, who moved to Manchester City earlier this summer in a deal worth over £50million.
Aurier made 32 appearances for the Parisians last season as they won a domestic double of the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Lige.

The former Tolouse right-back is known for his rapid pace and attacking mentality, meaning that he is likely to fit in perfectly with Mauricio Pochettino’s tactics in north London.
Football Insider Verdict
Aurier will be a fantastic addition to Pochettino’s squad but it remains to be seen whether or not he will swoop in and take Kieran Trippier’s squad in the first-team. What Pochettino should look to do is to try and balance out how he uses the duo. It’s going to be a big season for Spurs with Champions League football and they are also due a domestic trophy, so using one in cup competitions and the other in the league might be the way to go. Aurier’s arrival also raises the question of what to do with Kyle Walker-Peters. The young full-back made a stunning debut against Newcastle earlier this month, so maybe a loan move to the Championship would be ideal for him to continue his football education.
