Sadio Mane: This is why I am getting frustrated at Liverpool

Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane has spoken out over his frustration at Liverpool not being able to secure the wins to reflect their dominance.
The 24-year-old has been in superb form this season, registering seven goals and seven assists from 16 appearances in all competitions, but laments Liverpool’s failure to pick up maximum points from games they have outplayed their opponents.
Mane believes that this is the main reason why Liverpool find themselves six points behind league leaders Chelsea, and three points behind second-placed Arsenal.
He told Sky Sports: “I’m not frustrated about Chelsea [leading], but maybe because we didn’t win the games we should win. But it can happen in football, so it does not affect anyone in the team. We’re going to do our best to win the next game.”
Jurgen Klopp’s side are one of the most potent attacking forces in the Premier League this season, scoring 37 goals – the highest in the league.

However, they are not always making the most of their chances in front of goal, or turning their dominance into shots on goal nearly enough.
The Reds drew 2-2 with West Ham at the weekend, but aside from another costly error from under-fire goalkeeper Loris Karius, a case could have been made for the home side to take all three points from the game.
They had 68% possession, and registered 18 shots on goal; however, just three of those Liverpool shots were on target – of which two were goals.
Similarly, the previous week, Liverpool threw away a two-goal advantage with just 15 minutes left to play in a 4-3 defeat to Bournemouth. Again, Liverpool dominated possession (60%) and had 10 shots on goal, but just three were on target.
