27-year-old set to start for Liverpool in clash against Chelsea - report

Dejan Lovren is expected to return to the Liverpool starting line-up to face Chelsea on Friday night after a facial injury, according to a report.
The Sun claim the centre-back, who missed out against Leicester last weekend after sustaining a badly-bruised eye in training, is in line to return to the team for the Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge.
Lovren is most likely to replace Lucas Leiva, who was guilty of gifting Jamie Vardy a goal last weekend, and partner Joel Matip in the heart of the defence.
Midfielder Emre Can is back in training after an ankle problem but is not yet match fit, while manager Jurgen Klopp will decide whether to bring back Philippe Coutinho after he was rested in the 4-2 hammering of Leicester following a long trip back from international duty with Brazil.
Can has started just one game for Liverpool this season, in the EFL Cup at Burton Albion, as well as a 20-minute substitute appearance in the 4-3 win against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
