Arsenal and Germany star Mesut Ozil took to Twitter to share his delight after the Gunners’ 3-0 win over West Ham.
The 28-year-old play maker scored Arsenal’s first goal in their thrashing of London-rivals West Ham at the Emirates Stadium.
Ozil then set up Theo Walcott’s goal, before Olivier Giroud netted to give the Gunners their first Premier League win since February.
The three points leaves Arsene Wenger’s men fifth in the table, having leap-frogged Manchester United, forcing them back down into sixth place.
Arsenal are still four points off Manchester City who occupy the final Champions League spot – but they do have a game in hand.
Ozil’s goal against the Hammers was his first since he netted in the 3-1 win over Stoke City back in December.
Following the events on Wednesday night Ozil had a message for the Arsenal fans.
“We haven’t forgotten how to win yet,” Ozil wrote on his personal Twitter account. “There’s life in the Old Lady yet.”

The German now has 10 goals for the season in all competitions to add to his 11 assists in 33 league and cup appearances.
Arsenal fans will be hoping that the win over West Ham reignites their push for a top four finish after a massively disappointing few weeks.
