Perez starts in Wenger 4-2-3-1: Arsenal best possible XI to face Lincoln
By Matt Farr
Arsene Wenger must start Lucas Perez when Arsenal take on Lincoln in the FA Cup sixth round at the Emirates on Saturday.
The 28-year-old has become frustrated at a lack of regular action, and must be included in the starting eleven to avoid further risk of unsettling the player ahead of the summer.
Wenger should name another four changes to his side following the 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday, with Kieran Gibbs, Rob Holding, Gabriel Paulista and Ainsley Maitland-Niles coming into the side.
Granit Xhaka, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Hector Bellerin and Alexis Sanchez should be the five first team regulars that make way.
However, despite the five changes, Wenger should keep a number of assets up his sleeve either in their starting eleven or on the bench.

Therefore, David Ospina, Shkodran Mustafi, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud should all retain their places in the side, with Alexis Sanchez on the bench.
Wenger has a few concerns to deal with in regard to his team selection ahead of the tie, with Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi have been revealed to have come down with a bug and are doubts.
A bug is believed to be working its’ way through the Arsenal camp, and Wenger will hope he does not see his resources further depleted for the tie.
Holding and Maitland-Niles are two youngsters that should be handed chances to impress in the starting eleven on Saturday, while Jeff Reine-Adelaide should also be included in the matchday squad.
Giroud, meanwhile, should lead the line in the absence of Sanchez, but Perez and Walcott will both provide substantial goalscoring threats from their respective attacking roles.
A win for Arsenal would only temporarily ease the frustrations of the Arsenal faithful after yet another humiliating week under Wenger’s management.
The FA Cup remains Arsenal’s one remaining chance of silverware this season, and they could book their place in the next round with a victory.
In other Arsenal team news, forget Sanchez, this Arsenal man is the one player the club cannot afford to lose.
