Celtic player ratings v Aberdeen: Seven starters 5/10 in shock defeat
COMMENT
Celtic closed out their league campaign for the season with a disappointing 1-0 loss to Aberdeen.
Brendan Rodgers brought back his big players for the game, as the likes of Moussa Dembele, Kieran Tierney and Tom Rogic, who were all rested against Kilmarnock in midweek, returned to the side.
The first-half had very few chances for either side, Greg Stewart hitting the bar with a free-kick for the Dons and Moussa Dembele had an effort saved from an acute angle by Dons goalkeeper Joe Lewis, and the match was goalless at the break.
Stewart curled an effort around the post at the start of the second-half and Aberdeen took the lead early in the second-half when Andrew Considine scored from close range.
Oliver Ntcham had an effort saved as the Hoops tried to get going but despite having plenty of possession they found it difficult to break down a resolute Aberdeen defence.
