Arsenal fans react on Twitter after reported Eddie Howe interest
By Amir Mir
Eddie Howe has been linked with the Arsenal manager’s job, and supporters on Twitter have mixed views on the news.
The Sun have claimed that the 38-year-old Bournemouth manager’s name is currently being discussed by the Arsenal hierarchy.
The news wasn’t to everyone’s liking, and some Arsenal fans believe big-name players would not join the club if Howe was appointed manager.
Others questioned whether the Bournemouth manager is a big enough name in to be put in charge of the Premier League giants.
However, other supporters were quick to defend Howe and pointed out that Wenger was relatively unknown in the football world when he started at Arsenal.

Top players from the continent aren't going to sign for Arsenal if Eddie Howe is the coach. Just not going to happen.

Fans that dismiss Eddie Howe because of he isn’t a “name” would do well to revise The Arsenal’s History

Arsenal are not one of only a small handful of clubs that can offer high wages. Why would a star player come play for Eddie Howe?

Lol imagine this. We all want Wenger out to get a top manager and then we replace with Eddie Howe. Would be typical Arsenal.

It'll be an anomaly to say Eddie Howe won't survive at Arsenal cause he's not a big manager. News flash mate: Wenger was average at first

Eddie Howe kind of makes me think of Moyes. Good at the level he's at but going to be overwhelmed at a bigger job.
