Celtic player ratings v Ross County: Starter is 5/10 in comfortable win

MIDFIELD

Celtic

Callum McGregor – 6: Was on the fringes of the game but still contributed with some nice touches and flicks, not one of his best games but a decent enough performance from the midfield man

Scott Brown – 6: A quieter match than he usually has, perhaps because of the dreadful challenge on him by Andrew Davies which saw the County man sent-off, thankfully Brown wasn’t injured

Tom Rogic – 7: Scored a lovely goal to put the Hoops 3-0 up after some great skill, didn’t dominate the game like he did at times v Motherwell but still a good performance from the Australian

Stuart Armstrong – 8: A superb performance from Armstrong in his first start of the season for the Hoops, was at the heart of the action for the Bhoys and put the seal on a great day with a fine goal

Scott Sinclair – 6: Returned to the first-team after a few weeks on the bench, won the penalty which created the Hoops’ first goal, played reasonably well enough but not at his very best

James Forrest – 7: Did well to help create the second goal, as the player of the year candidate turned in his best performance in a few week for the Hoops, still not at his very best however
