Seemed to be the ideal signing for the Bhoys, as an experienced defender has been needed for a long time.
However, the player has yet to kick a ball for the Hoops after picking up an injury in the winter break in Dubai.
He is also ineligible to play in the upcoming Europa League clash against Zenit.
On paper he still looks to be a good signing but judgement will be reserved until he plays a match for the Bhoys, and as the defence is currently in good form only time will tell when that will be.
